I made this because I wanted my sims who live near the sea to be able to earn their living from it, and I HATE Eaxis oceanography career. There are no supernaturals in this career, mermaids and Greek gods need not apply. It also sticks to fishing rather than veering randomly into conservation/research, which I think is improbable. However, the career has its own GUID and should not overwrite any other, so you can have oceanography as well.

Job levels, descriptions, rates of pay etc. are below the spoiler.

There are chance cards for every level, but I won't give the text of them all. Find out for yourself. I promise NO MERMAIDS

This seems to be a more realistic job at sea, considering pollution and the chancy risks of depending on fishing for a living. I am curious to see if the chance cards consider bad weather or even hurricane conditions and if these things will affect pay.
