This is more for traits rather than an actual gameplay mod. I am wondering if anyone knows how you can change how likely something is to occur (such as a fire, burning food, winning a fight etc) with a certain trait, for example, a sim with a fireproof trait is less likely to start a fire. Iâ€™ve been looking around the XML Files but Iâ€™m not sure what I need to add to a trait in order for it to work.
Fires are typically started from a loot action. There's a chance tunable in the fire loot which would allow you to set a multiplier for the base chance (e.g. 0.5 for 1/2 the chance of a fire, 0.25 for 1/4 the chance, etc.) if a specific trait is matched.
So you wouldn't code anything into the trait itself, but into the applicable fire starting loot XML.
